Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?
Dr. Secola originally chose to become a dentist because she really liked the idea of being able to not only better a person's health through her dedicated efforts, but also help them achieve a stronger sense of self-confidence in the process. She's never looked back!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from Boston College in 2008, Dr. Secola pursued her dental doctorate at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. She also underwent a General Practice Residency program at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, TX, which included a rotation at MD Anderson Cancer Center's Oral Maxillofacial Prosthodontic Clinic. Today, she has undergone additional training in single/full arch dental implant restorations and Invisalign, becoming a Certified Provider for the latter.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When she isn't busy caring for teeth, Dr. Secola loves spending time with her five siblings and spoiling her nephew silly. Some of her biggest hobbies include gardening and riding her Peloton bike. She's also a BIG traveler! So far, she's gone to over 16 countries and 35 states, with hopefully more to come.
